Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy

Returns and Exchanges

At Jewelrymex, all our products are new and in their original packaging. However, due to manufacturer or logistics errors, defects or problems may occur and we’ll do our very best to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Some of our products are shipped out with an international warranty, so if the shipment was defective due to the manufacturer, kindly contact us and we’ll assist you right away. If however, the defect is from our end, we’ll have it exchanged for a new one.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, or it did not present itself to you as advertised, Jewelrymex will issue you a full refund or store credit for the product, provided that it is returned to us in its original packaging, including all accessories/manuals of the said product.

Items such as Perfumes, Sunglasses, Glass & Artificial Jewelry, products with missing serial numbers,  etc cannot be refunded once opened or used.

Please be advised that we may need to request a photo or a short video showing the defect/damage on the products received, as it is a requirement from merchants for refund/replacement and quality purposes.

You can request a return (including the photo/short video) by contacting us through the phone, Live Chat, or sending a ticket within 14 calendar days of your delivery. The item(s) will be picked up at a scheduled time convenient to you.

Refunds will be processed as soon as the item is received by us. Refunds may take 2-7 business days to show on your credit/debit card statement.

Shipping Procedures

At Jewelrymex customer satisfaction is our top priority, and this is why we take the utmost care to deliver your item to you as safely and fast as possible. Our shipping process eases your everyday life, letting you focus on your priorities instead of working out the logistics. Your item is shipped to one of our global hubs and Jewelrymex monitors your order from there until it is in your hands. Whether it’s a Wedding Rind or a Stud earring, your order will be safe in our hands until it’s in yours.

How much does delivery cost?

You can see the final cost of your order after adding an item to your cart. Please understand that there can be instances where the delivery location is in remote place or some other issues, so an extra shipping charge may apply in order for Jewelrymex to safely deliver it to you. If your item exceeds a courier’s normally allowed dimensions or weight, they may levy an additional handling fee. In this circumstance, we will communicate this amount to you and you will have the option to proceed with the order by paying the additional charge, or cancelling your order for a full refund.

Order Tracking

You can view all updates to your order status as well as your package’s location at any time from your account page. For any further assistance on your order status, you can contact Jewelrymex support at any time and we can connect you to the local courier in your country who will be delivering your order.

Express Delivery

Some of our items have an “Express Delivery” option, which means that they will be delivered faster than our Standard shipping for an additional fee. You can see the delivery estimates and fees by adding an item to your cart. Please note that Express Delivery is not available for items classified as hazardous goods for international air cargo. Additionally the Standard Delivery timeframe will be longer for these items. You will be notified of this once we receive your order.

Availability

Stock and availability shown on this site is for your reference only. While we strive to maintain the most accurate and timely information on stock and availability, it may change between the time you added an item to your cart and the time your order is processed. In rare cases, an item may become out of stock, or the number of units that you ordered may not be available. In that case, we will contact you to confirm how you would like to proceed.

Handling and Delivery

All orders are screened by Customs and processed by our appointed clearance agent in each country, after which it is handed over to the courier for final delivery. If there is any exterior damage visible on the packaging at the time of delivery, please refuse delivery of the package and it will be returned back to us for further inspection. In case you discover that the item is damaged after accepting delivery, then please contact Jewelrymex

Import Clearance

Jewelrymex may cancel an order for a full refund if any of the items in an order are prohibited by your local Customs or other government authority. While we try to filter only allowed items, there may occasionally be products available that are in fact prohibited in your country. Please see our FAQ page for a full list of items that are prohibited in your country. While we do keep this as up to date as possible, the government regulations can also change without notice.

Payments

What payment methods can I use?

We currently accept any valid credit or debit card. Any card with a Visa / Mastercard logo can be used for your purchase at Jewelrymex. This includes prepaid cards and Visa based e-dirham cards.

Can I pay with cash?

Jewelrymex recommends card payment over cash for various reasons. At Jewelrymex, our priority is selling great products and providing the best customer experience. Being cashless helps us ensure smoother and faster deliveries which means lower prices for our customers. Cash also cannot provide the full customer protection services that you get from your bank and card provider. Our hassle-free returns policy lets you try out and use a product before deciding whether it works for you. In case it doesn’t, we also have the ability to directly provide a refund to your card. If you wish to use cash, you can also purchase a prepaid internet shopping card at various banks/supermarkets/petrol stations around the UAE

Cash on Delivery

Certain items will have the cash on delivery option visible on the product page and can be chosen on the payment option section at checkout. There will be an extra charge levied for each cash on delivery transaction that will be visible at checkout. Post checkout confirmation calls will be made to confirm the order and failing to confirm will void the order.
Refunds will only be made as store credit.

Why do I see a $1 charge when my payment fails?

When someone attempts a payment, we send over a request to your issuing bank for either a $0 or a $1 authorization (different banks permit different amounts) to verify that the card is issued and the bank will allow it to be authorized. Regardless of whether or not the authorization is declined, we reverse our authorization request immediately. However, even if the bank declines the authorization, some people may still see an authorization for $1 on their credit card statement. The important thing to remember is that this is not a charge, and it will disappear from your statement. Depending on the bank, it will be removed from your statement in anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks.

Do you support international cards?

At Jewelrymex, you can use any credit or debit card with a Visa/Mastercard logo in the front of the card. All charges to your card will be made in USD, so if your card is issued in another country, your bank may charge an extra foreign conversion fee.

Why was my card declined?

Declines can happen for a variety of reasons. When we submit a charge to your bank, they have automated systems that determine whether or not to accept the charge. These systems take various signals into account, such as your spending habits, account balance, and card information like the expiration date and CVC. Since these signals are constantly changing, a previously successful card might be declined in the future. Even if all of the card information is correct, and you previously had a successful payment, a future charge can still be declined by a bank’s overzealous anti-fraud systems.

How can I find out more information about a specific decline?

We show as much information as we receive from your bank about a decline. Unfortunately, most declines are generic, so we don’t have much information as to why a charge was specifically declined. If all of the card information seems correct, it is best to contact your bank, inquire for more information, and ask for future charges to be accepted.
